AdRem Litecon is an interesting, eDirectory-enabled access to the NetWare server console that that uses IPX and TCP/IP. Thanks to a custom data compression algorithm, AdRem Litecon allows server console access in overloaded WANs.
Users can view and work on many console screens of a single server, switch easily from one server to any other server, connect to servers from any NDS tree container, copy and paste text on the console screen, define keyboard shortcuts, and use the SLP-based server discovery option to easily discover servers in pure IP environments. Litecon supports NetWare 4.x, 5.x, 6.x and OES NetWare.

* Remote access to NetWare servers
* AdRem Lite Console is an efficient solution for remote operation of your server. Also, the program allows users to sample, one of AdRem sfConsole's key security functions and eDirectory authentication in remote access to the server.
* Low footprint – efficiency in slow connections
* Thanks to a custom data compression algorithm, AdRem Lite Console allows you to remotely access the server console even in extremely overloaded wide area networks or via modem. Since it uses NCP protocol which can be run over IPX or TCP/IP, it may operate in various configurations.
* No server-side installation
* Litecon does not require installation on the server. Instead, suitable NLM modules are installed automatically (if necessary) while establishing a connection with the server.
* Compatibility
* AdRem Lite Console is protocol independent and it runs on both IPX and TCP/IP. It connects with servers using an NCP connections, automatically using the right network protocol. It is compatible with all the NetWare platforms, including Novell NetWare 4.11, NW 5.x and NW 6.x.
* Ease of administration
To ease their administration workload, Litecon 2008 users can:
* View and work on many console screens of a single server
* Switch easily from one server to any other server
* Connect to servers from any NDS/eDirectory tree container
* Copy and paste text on the console screen
* Define keyboard shortcuts for the most frequently used functions
* Resize remote console windows
* Use the SLP-based server discovery option to easily discover servers in pure IP environments
